The particulars being that whilst riding GREENLAND, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to other runners when he shifted inwards from the 500m in Race 9 on 30 December 2023 at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Racecourse.

The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa confirms that at an Inquiry held In Cape Town on Wednesday 24 January 2024, Jockey C Orffer was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2, read with Guideline M in Appendix E on the use of the crop. The particulars being that he misused his crop by striking SUPREME DREAM more than twelve times (17) in the entire race during Race 7, the SUMMER FLING STAKES (Grade 3), run at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Racecourse on 13 January 2024.

The particulars being that he failed to ride RADU out to the end of the race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards and prejudiced his chances of obtaining fourth place in Race 6 at Turffontein Racecourse on 5 December 2023.

The particulars being that as the rider of MONDIAL, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to FOSTINOVO (G Lerena) when he shifted in at the 200m in Race 5 at the Vaal Racecourse on 28 December 2023.
The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held in Gqeberha on Friday, 29 December 2023, Jockey J Gates was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2, read with Guideline M in Appendix E on the use of the crop. The particulars being that he misused his crop by striking GALLIC TRIBE more than twelve times (13) in the entire race, during Race 7, at Fairview Racecourse on 5 November 2023.

The particulars being, as the rider of ZINOVI, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to MOVING IN (G Lerena) when he shifted in at the 400m in Race 6 at Turffontein Racecourse on 12 November 2023.

The particulars being, that as the rider of LIKE A BUTTERFLY, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to a number of horses at the 1500m, in Race 3 at Turffontein Racecourse on 30 November 2023.

The particulars being that he misused his crop by striking RAISEAHALLELUJAH more than twelve times (17) in the entire race during Race 8 at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Racecourse on 2 December 2023.
