The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa (NHA) confirms that the Chief Executive has imposed an interim suspension on the horse NOTABLE, trained by Mr Dominic Zaki, with immediate effect, pending the outcome of a further investigation. 

This decision follows the receipt of a preliminary report from the NHA Laboratory requesting further investigation into a specimen collected from NOTABLE after the horse was presented on 24 April 2026 for the purpose of determining whether a suspension in terms of Rule 49.7 should be lifted, as well as to assess the horse’s fitness through a gallop. 

Accordingly, and in terms of Rule 91.2, NOTABLE has been withdrawn from Race 4 at Hollywoodbets Greyville on 13 May 2026.
