Inquiry – Jockey Donovan Dillon

The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an inquiry held at Hollywoodbets Scottsville Racecourse on 31 January 2021, Jockey Donovan Dillon was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7.  The particulars being that as the rider of MR PIGALLE, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to other runners at the 1300m in Race 2 at Hollywoodbets Scottsville Racecourse on 17 January 2021.

Jockey Dillon pleaded guilty to the charge.

The Inquiry Board found Jockey Dillon guilty and after considering the evidence in this matter, imposed a penalty of a suspension from riding in races for a period of seven days.

Jockey Dillon has the Right of Appeal against the penalty imposed.
