NEWLY APPOINTED NATIONAL BOARD DIRECTOR

In terms of Chapter 4 of the Constitution of The National Horseracing Authority the Nominations Committee, consisting of past Chairmen Adv. Altus Joubert, Mr Andrew O’Connor, Mr Larry Nestadt and Mr Jonathan Witts-Hewinson has appointed Mr David Rosevear to fill the vacancy on the National Board in terms of clause 15.1.1, read with 15.4.5.1, of the Constitution effective from 5 June 2020.

Mr Rosevear is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) and a former director of The Bidvest Group Limited for 14 years where he served in senior operational roles and was a member of the Exco, Audit, Corporate Finance and Audit Committees before retiring to pursue his own interests and consulting to various companies.  He has also served on a number of Boards both locally and International as executive and non-executive.

Mr Rosevear is a keen race goer and a Colour Holder domiciled in the Central Provinces.

The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa welcomes Mr Rosevear to the National Board.
